Beer Appreciation
Formally established in 2004, the mission of BeerAppreciation LLC is to first educate people about the rich world of beer—its culture, styles, history, ingredients and stories. Beer Appreciation Classes are taught at local night schools and other venues, and on request for bars and restaurants. Their staff coordinates and leads beer tasting and beer dinner events, to share beer knowledge and enjoyment.
Team Independence
The Philadelphia Independence is proud to announce the introduction of its new Team Independence Youth Development Program and Club Affiliate Program, marking the emergence of one of the most comprehensive soccer youth systems in the United States.

Because of Nicks’ love of children the Nicholas John Zangara Memorial Fund was created in his honor. The fund supports groups that focus on improving the lives of children in need. Coleraine Design Partners with the Philadelphia Independence
At an event which took place at the historic Franklin Institute and in front of a crowd of over 500 passionate soccer fans the Philadelphia Women's Professional Soccer team introduced themselves to the city for the first time with their new team name, Philadelphia Independence.
